Hello! We are Tokyo Bay International Clinic Maihama. 

Since opening in June, we have had the pleasure of welcoming many patients, including hotel guests and visitors to the Maihama area.

Falling suddenly ill or getting injured during a theme park visit or vacation can be incredibly stressful and anxiety-inducing. To help first-time patients feel at ease, we would like to introduce our clinic's interior and medical facilities.

1. Entrance＆Reception 

We strive to create a bright and calming space to relieve any anxiety or tension caused by illness, ensuring your fun vacation is disrupted as little as possible. Our friendly staff is here to welcome you with a warm smile.

2. Dedicated Areas for Suspected Infectious Diseases

For patients with suspected infectious diseases (such as a fever or cough), we provide a separate route and dedicated waiting area to prevent contact with general patients. Families with small children and individuals with pre-existing conditions can visit our clinic without worrying about the risk of cross-infection.

3. On-Site Medical Equipment for Sudden Illnesses and Injuries

Our examination and treatment rooms are fully equipped with advanced medical devices, allowing us to provide a wide range of comprehensive medical diagnoses. 

Main Testing Equipment & Treatable Symptoms:

X-Ray (Radiography):

Used to check for injuries from falls or twisted ankles inside the park (such as fractures or dislocations), as well as prolonged coughs or chest pain.

Blood & Urine Tests: 

Conducted for sudden high fevers, severe abdominal pain, or extreme fatigue. These tests help us rapidly identify the underlying causes, such as infections, acute appendicitis, or dehydration.

Electrocardiogram (ECG): 

Used when heart conditions are suspected due to chest pain or palpitations, helping us determine if immediate medical intervention is required.

Rapid Infectious Disease Tests: 

For symptoms like sudden fever, severe sore throat, cough, or joint pain, we conduct rapid tests to quickly screen for Influenza, COVID-19, Strep throat, and more, allowing us to proceed with the appropriate treatment right away.

4. Available in English and Multilingual Support

One of the key features of our clinic is that we can provide care in English as well as Japanese. We always have English-speaking doctors and staff available. We also provide medical forms and guides in English and Chinese. For other languages, we use smooth and accurate translation tools, so you can communicate with us easily and comfortably. 

5. Clinic Access & Medical Certificates 

Our clinic is conveniently located on the 2nd floor of Grand Nikko Tokyo Bay Maihama. It is easily accessible on foot for guests staying at our hotel and neighboring hotels. You can also take advantage of the free shuttle bus running between Maihama Station and the hotel.

We can smoothly issue medical certificates in English and other necessary documents for your return flight or travel insurance claims, so please feel free to ask our staff.

We are here to provide comprehensive medical support so that a sudden illness doesn't ruin your trip to Maihama. Our entire staff is dedicated to offering compassionate care, helping you recover as quickly as possible so you can get back to enjoying your vacation to the fullest.
